I met this woman, Mary Aluel Bol, 80, in a makeshift refugee/IDP camp just a few hours south of the Sudan border. She was carrying firewood she had collected outside the camp in order to sell it at the market so she can buy some food. She was part of a group who claimed to have been chased out of their village by armed groups in Sudan and forced to restart their lives south of the border with only the clothes they were wearing.
